John Martin Dewane, formerly known as Juan Ramon Martinez Dewane, entered this world on April 3, 1969, in San Pedro Sula, Honduras. His journey began with adversity, as his birth was a challenging one – he was born breached and experienced a lack of oxygen, rendering him stillborn. However, this was only the beginning of a remarkable story of resilience and determination.
As the middle child among five siblings, John was born to Oscar Vidal Martinez and Aida Dewane Martinez. His early years were marked by hardship, but his spirit remained unbroken. In pursuit of a better future, John embarked on a life-changing journey to the United States on January 11, 1982, with a steadfast commitment to continue his education.
